"IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES"
(Written by Minister Sherry Ivy)
Death is something that we all have to face one day we don’t know when, where, or how. It will come at a time we lease expect that’s why we have to live everyday as if it is our last day so “if tomorrow never comes,” we will be ready to go back with Jesus. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. (Matthew 24:44)
Tomorrow is not promise to us nor the next minute or the next hour. So make sure you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior so “If tomorrow never comes,” you’re be able to enter in the kingdom of God. Jesus answered, verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:5)
Only God knows the number of days we will live on this earth. “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” (Matthew 24:36) That’s why it’s important that you believe in Jesus so “if tomorrow never comes,” you will live again and never die. “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” (John 11:25-26)
Before you go to sleep don’t forget to repent from your wicked ways so “if tomorrow never come,” you can get forgiveness from God for your wrong doing. “Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray to God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.” (Acts 8:22)
Allow the Holy Spirit to guide your footsteps so you will be sure you’re
walking on the narrow path so “if tomorrow never comes,” you’re be able
to enter into the straight gate. “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is
the gate, and broad,is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many
there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is
the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that fine it.”
(Matthew 7:13-14))
The time is right now to make sure your soul is right with God while the
blood is running warm in your veins. So “If tomorrow never comes,” you
can hear Him say well done. “His lord said unto him, well done, good and faithful servant; thou
has been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter
thou into the joy of thy God.” (Matthew 25:23)
So be encouraged today and always remember you don’t have to be afraid “If tomorrow never comes,” because the Lord will be with you. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4)
