PRAISE THE LORD

Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord, O my soul !
While I live I will praise the Lord;
I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.
Psalm 146:1-2  NKJV

We all face trials and difficult times in our lives.  I think not a day goes by that something happens that can challenge us.  Something we don't understand, someone does or says something unkind to us or one of our loved ones.  Some things we do have control over, others we do not.

I have been facing some challenges this past month and even through today.  At times, I admit I have felt sorry for myself.  I miss my husband, who is away on business and can't be here right now.  I have been sick, but the cause has not been found yet.  But, a couple of days ago, I felt the Holy Spirit touch my heart.  Now I look at things in a whole different light.  I am now Praising The Lord for what is in my life right here and right now.  I feel the Lord is blessing me with things I need to know.  He has impressed upon me that I need to make some life style changes.  Only one of which, is to handle stress.  To not be so concerned about things, but to trust Him and to have more and deeper faith.  Isn't it just like our Heavenly Father who loves us so much to bring challenges our way to teach us something we really need to know and learn?  He loved us enough to send his Son to die for us.  His son and our Savior died because He loved us so very much.

I am reminded of a song on a CD I have.  Some of the words are this:
He is ever faithful and true
He alone, knows what is best for you
God is to wise, to be mistaken
God is to good to be unkind
When you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
Trust His Heart
So, you see, I trust His Heart.  He does know what is best for us.  So now, I sing praises to our Lord and Savior for all that comes my way.  We Christians are so fortunate to know all of this.  Let us Praise His Name.  Let us always be thankful we have Him in our lives and His Word to guide us.  Think about starting your day with Psalm 91  and Ephesians 6:10-18.  I have been doing this for a long time now.  I introduced it to Randy.  Now we do it together every morning.  It starts our day right.
I leave you with a scripture to read:
Psalm 139:23-24

Have a blessed Day and God Bless You

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three: but the greatest of these is love. 2 Cor. 13:13
